Individual Therapy

A collaborative process in which the client works with a trained therapist one-on-one to determine goals for their work together.  The most common form of therapy, individual therapy may encompass various treatment styles including but not limited to psychoanalysis and cognitive behavior therapy. Individual therapy explores the client’s feelings, behaviors and or beliefs, working through challenging memories to help them identify dysfunctional patterns and aspects of their life they would like to change to reach their personal and professional goals.  

 

Family Therapy

Psychotherapy that works with families and/or couples to nurture change and development. 

 

Group Therapy

One or more therapist working with several people at the same time.

 

A form of alternative dispute resolution; typically, a third party (the mediator) assist the two parties to negotiate a settlement, agreement or reconciliation.
